In June 2016, Cecilia Fiaka, dedicated community leader in rural Ghana and founder of the Nneka Youth Foundation came to Ipswich and met with groups of kids and adults to talk about her foundation's efforts to improve the lives of young people through education, empowerment, and opportunity, and how much Friends of Kpelezo has done for her community. She invited anyone interested to make the trip to her village to see first hand all the work that has been done thanks to Friends of Kpelezo, and to meet the children and parents who have benefited from their help. |
Five volunteers from Ipswich High School joined hundreds of Nneka youth for a day of dancing, singing, and sharing. It was a day these volunteers will never forget!
